Dongen 1
A semicircular-shaped pond connects the inside the building to the outside. Inside, coloured glass rings above the water provide constantly changing colourful reflections on the walls of the new council chamber as well as on the surface of the pond. Outside, solar-powered fountains spout according to the incidence of light.

Several glass rings catch the light and cast reflections in the water and on the walls. Furthermore, a series of solar-powered fountains spout according to the intensity and direction of the sunlight. As a consequence, the project changes constantly over the day as well as over the seasons.
